Harlanites,

THREAD THE NEEDLE IS AIRED EACH SUNDAY EVENING AT SIX P. M. OVER CABLE CHANNEL 21.

ON 31 AUG.  I  DID AN  OVERVIEW  TO MOTIVATE STUDENTS   WHEN THEY SHALL  HAVE  RETURNED  TO SCHOOL---  TO SET  GOALS  AND TO ACHIEVE

THIS SUNDAY   07  SEPT...  I  DEAL WITH  THE CONCEPT  OF  SUCCESSFUL  SCHOOLS     HARLAN   AND  WHITNEY  YOUNG  BEING  AMONG  THOSE   WHERE  AFRICAN AMERICAN  STUDENTS  HAVE  ACHIEVED..   SETH MCCORMICK, SHARON
MASSEY, MR.  "T" AND THE EIGHT JUDGES ARE FEATURED.. [   SOME  TEACHERS  ARE  CITED  FOR THEIR  PREPARATION  AND  THEIR  DEDICATION  . ]

ON THE 14TH OF SEPTEMBER,   WE DEAL WITH THE CONCEPT OF SUCCESS IN SCHOOLS.

ON  THE 21ST  OF  SEPTEMBER,   THE PROGRAM  IS  DEDICATED  TO  THOSE   STUDENTS  WHO TAUGHT US  MORE THAN WE  TAUGHT  THEM...  WE WILL  NAME  NAMES.

ONE OF THE ABOVE  PROGRAMS  WILL  BE REPEATED  THE LAST  SUNDAY  IN SEPTEMBER.  I WILL  EXPLAIN  WHY  IN  THE PROGRAM  FOR  THE  21ST...
EACH PROGRAM SEEKS  TO MOTIVATE  THE GENERAL  ASSEMBLY  TO  PROVIDE  MORE   OPPORTUNITY  FOR   EXCELLENCE  IN  EDUCATION
FOR  PEOPLE  OF  COLOR.

GOOD  MORNING !   Were  I  you,  I would not miss  these  programs  of Thread  the Needle.
October  the  Fifth....  In Dedication Of ---  takes  our hats  off  to  teachers  in  the public sector  who  have given  their  lives  to  make certain  the self actualization  of  African American Students...

In  deference to this,  one  caller  complained  the  too  few  African  Americans   take  advantage  of  Catholic  schooling.  This  program  describes  public  schooling  as  an  inherent  right  of  its citizenry  and  militates  for   its  upgrading. Our  program  on  Oct. 26th   takes  up  our  response...

October   the  Twelfth .... Successful  Schools ---  presents  discussions  about  John  Marshall  Harlan    and Whitney  Young  Magnet,  Members  of  the  JMHAA NFP,  are  featured  as  are  SEVEN  OF THE EIGHT  AFRICAN AMERICAN  JUDGES    who sit on  the bench  here in Cook  County...

October  the   Nineteenth.....  Success  in  Schools... follows  successful  schools   applauding  students,  teachers  and  parents  who  organize and  work  hard  and  achieve.

October  Twenty  Sixth.... One  caller  asserted   that  Thread  the Needle  refuses   to  advise  its public  about the benefits  of  Catholic schooling.  Our argument here is  that public  schooling is  an  inherent right  of  all  citizens.  WE HERE AT  THREAD  THE  NEEDLE  MILITATES  FOR  CHANGE  IN   THE MANNERS   PUBLIC SCHOOLS  ARE FUNDED   AND  OPERATED.. {  This program  will  be repeated  on  November  2, 2008. )

Educators  and   parents  and  students, such as,   Richard  Thompson,  Ed  Robinson,  Mary  Bates, Judge John  Steele  are   applauded  for  what  they have done.  These  all  validate  the fact  that Black Children  Learn  When  They  Are  Taught!!!   Our students  could not have  taken  the places  they  have taken in society, had they  not been  both able to learn  and  had they not been   taught...You need to see the programs..  I am  Byron
